Lately the reporting out there is that Walmart and Kroger does not accept Visa gift cards for MO. (Personally it didn’t work at kroger)

I get 5.25% cash back with BOA cash rewards card and Platinum Honors investment level. Make sure you pick online purchases as your 3% category.
Sweet – had $200 Amex Appreciation credit on Biz card – this made it easy to free up the cash.

I had $5000 of gift cards stolen and some used that were in the $300 denomination and went through heck with the bank, and staples headquarters to finally get credit as I said they never arrived to me personally, and they a,so wouldn’t tell me who might have used some of them….and staples said they would never credit me again if I used the mail method. So since then, even though it was better to utilize the larger denomination, I have always played in more ‘safe’ and only purchase the cards in store when I am in the states. Good luck- there is so much theft these days!
