I’m pretty sure Amex gets Level 3 data from Staples, so it would NOT work to meet a minimum spend requirement on an AMEX card.

Yes, it doesn’t matter what the amount is. If you buy a Visa at Staples, AMEX will know that’s what you bought, and it will most likely NOT count towards your minimum spend.
Dan- where in Cleveland can you still get money orders with these now that Giant Eagle is cash only, and Walmart has been having issues with these as is well-documented?

Venmo is pretty strict on these. I haven’t tried but I doubt it will work on venmo/paypal
