Using Visa gift cards to pay for money orders at Wal-Mart is pot luck, YMMV. In my recent foray I was successful only 2 out of 8 tries at 3 different Wal-Marts.
Do they know you are using Gift cards? or Register rejects transaction?
Register does not reject they just ask to see the card and say that can’t accept that form of payment. The successful Wal-Mart’s did not ask to see the card
I tried over 6 Wal-Mart’s in various Calif locations, no luck after reps inspect the cards. One did allow me to run only one through for ‘my troubles’ but no allow the other three I had with me. Not worth the time
Do gift card expire?
Can we buy $300 on a variable Visa? My Office Depot rarely has any $200 cards
I thought they stopped selling them around 2013.
The variables are $20 – $200. There is no $300 at OM/MD stores.
