My AMEX Everyday Preferred card is targeted to get 1,000 Membership Rewards points for spending $100 on a Cable or Satellite TV bill paid online by 11/15. The 1,000 point bonus can be earned 3 times for payments of $100 or more and is on top of the regular Membership Rewards points earned.

My Starwood and Delta AMEX is targeted to get 10% cash back on each Cable or Satellite TV bills paid online by 11/15. There is a limit of $30 cash back and is on top of the regular points earned.

DDF members are reporting getting the same exact offers for paying a cell phone bill with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or Verizon by 11/15.

You can use this link to access the old AMEX Offers interface, which is still compatible with the multi-tab method.

To see which offers you have, just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, click on “AMEX Offers For You,” and save the offer to your account.

If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account!  Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser.  Then go between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards.  Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.

Always check all primary and secondary card offers, as secondary cards will often have offers that the primary card does not. You can add secondary cards in your own name to your primary login or you can create a new login for other secondary cards.

Note that you only have to worry about an offer disappearing from other cards when they are registered to the same account. Saving an offer won’t affect cards that have their own login.

If you mess up and don’t save the offer to a card you can always remove a card from one login and make a dedicated login for it to register it. Alternatively you can remove the card that has an offer saved to it and the offer will reappear for the rest of the cards registered to that account. Once you properly save the offer to all cards on that account you can re-register the deleted card back to the same account.

Post which offers you find on your cards!

My Starwood and Delta AMEX are not targeted (both of the are business cards) could be if i call them they can add the offers?

Which one?

I have both. Which one is better for cellphone bill?
A) 10% cashback on SPG card
B) 1000 Bonus MR points
TIA!

Yanki

Does your offer say that it has to be in increments of $100 ?
I have the 10% offer and it says ” Limit $30 total credits ” I guess I can pay $300 per card and get the $30

THANKS DAN

it will work for payment to optimum ?

Mikey

Thank you for the heads-up.

Amex cards not targeted for offers. According to the DDF readers, I will still get a refund when I pay my Verizon bill? do I have to sign up for that?

Yanki

No way. You have to save the offer and use that card that you saved the offer on.

S

Dan, thanks! This is the first time I actually got targeted for an offer you mentioned! I got targeted for both but don’t have cable tv bill cuz I’m 19 :). 2 questions…
1) I’m assuming that it includes the price I’m paying monthly for the phone, not just the service (it’s all one bill), correct?
2) If I had to, I can make my November payment earlier than I usually do, so that I get the amex bonus, right?
I shouldn’t have to do that as my October payment should be the 3rd one, so it will be the max membership rewards points I can get anyway, but I like to be informed regardless.

Thank you!

Yanki

1) yes it applies to the total bill
2) you can make 3 payments right now. (If thier system allowed it ) You don’t have to wait 3 months

S

Oh and just by the way, if you’re wondering, this is on the Amex everyday card.

Crys

Dan can you plz share the steps on how to remove a card from a login?

Matt

What’s more valuable? Paying with my ink card as i do monthly to get 5x UR points, or taking this offer (which i got)

Matt

Better to use Ink for 5x UR or Amex for 1000 MR?

simon

Is the limit of $30 cash back in total or for every bill that I pay?

Avrohom

I don’t see any offers regarding cell phone bills

Jacky

Will this work for additional authorized users if I open it up in a new tab or its $30 max?
