conflicting info on the 29′ spinner.
by the description it says 21′ 25′
Any amazon coupons that combine with this deal?
Maybe it’s a knock off.
@rachel:
No.
@Fake?:
This is sold direct from Amazon, not a 3rd party.
Definitely the real deal.
if there were coupons, dan woulda posted them.
Anyone willing to help by comparing the samsonites listed with the american tourister-3 bags set for the same price as the samsonites?
which would you go for?

The reviews make clear that this is a 29 inch, not 25 inch, checked bag.
Based on the reviews it seems like it’s a 29 inch
why were posts not added? I’m adding to the conversation…
Not sure exactly how the record low prices work. I’m certainly in favor of giving people some indication of how good a deal this is, don’t get me wrong, but from the reviews of the ones for $125, it seems like they have been $125 from Amazon before. Still maybe ties the record, and may technically be true that the next lowest price is far far higher, but the post gives the impression that this is the record breaking moment.
Just bought. Thanks dan

Yup.

Record prices are based on sites that track these things.
@david:
Enjoy!
@HDS
I personal bought just the 20 inch without the 25″ or 29″for $125 10 days ago was actually so it is a steal of a deal
Are this sets better then the samsonite they sale at costco?
Smaller bag: 8.5 lbs.
Larger bag: 11 lbs approx
Q1- What is the norm weight?
q2- The review seemed to indicate the smaller bag might get rejected by the airline as a carry on –
Dan what is your SME opinion?
I bought the Samsonite (last link in post) as well as the American tourister deal back in June. Samsonite is way way better. Just FYI, I bought the Samsonite for $135 in June, so it’s not accurate to say that $125 is $200 cheaper than its record low. Still a great deal for superb luggage, though.

Though if it was a quick lightning deal it might not pick up on it.
I have the 21″ and while officially it meets regulation size for carry on I’ve been having a lot of problems getting it onto planes in Europe in the last 3 years, in the U.S. I’m usually ok but they almost always make me check it leaving Europe or even just on connections
@arok:
What do you want from Europeans 😉
@dan
Yea it was a lightning deal. You actually posted it, I believe. June 27th. Really awesome set. Rolls really smooth and doesn’t top over like the American Tourister set does.

@Hb:
Lol, well indeed I did 😀
Seems like it sold out quickly, too quick for the tracker.
21 and 29 sold out in my cart 🙁
@Hb:
TY for posting your experience with both sets–
you have the samsonite 21/25 spinner set-not the hard sided luggage, correct?
Just bought the 21/25 set

was going to buy large quantity to resell (obviously a nice sized investment but looked worth it) but if u research online there are similarly low priced items of the same type. Maybe it’s not this EXACTA item but I have a feeling it won’t be totally easy to resell based on the range of pricing on these types of items. (just a thought for anyone else considering reselling). Id love to hear other opinions.
Any Idea how long the warranty is on these?
Big one is back in stock!
Third set was $114.99 back in July.
The 29 inch is showing $199
