The federal tax credit on Tesla vehicles recently fell from $7,500 to $3,750, but Tesla also dropped the prices of their cars by $2,000 across the board to mostly make up for that. The $3,750 tax credit requires that you receive your car by 6/30/19.
States also have sweet incentives on top of that for electric cars like Tesla. For example in NY you can get a $2,000 rebate for new vehicles with a base price under $60,000 and a $500 rebate for new vehicles with a base price over $60,000. In NJ there is a sales tax exemption and a 10% discount on off-peak toll prices on NJT & GSP through EZ-Pass. In PA there is a $1,750 rebate for cars with a base price under $60,000. In CO all vehicles qualify for a $5,000 tax credit.
If you place a deposit on any Tesla via this referral link you will receive at least 6 months of free Tesla supercharger usage.
If you have never taken a test drive than you will receive 9 months of free Tesla supercharger usage. You can also return your Tesla for a full refund for 3 calendar days after delivery if you don’t love your car, no questions asked. In other words, if you take delivery of a Tesla on a Sunday you can return it until Thursday. Note that you can’t cancel the car before delivery, you must take delivery of the car and then you can return it for a full refund if you don’t love everything about it.
If you have taken a test drive, then the return policy is one day after delivery.
Personally I have a Model 3 and am obsessed with it. It really feels like the future of driving and it’s turns driving from a chore into something amazing. And the high tech features that it comes with are incredible.
That being said, if you are looking for something bigger than a midsize Model 3, the Model S full size sedan and the Model X SUV are about to get a whole lot more expensive after today.
Today is the final day to order the Model S 75D option. After today a base Model S will set you back an extra $18,000 as the 75D will no longer be offered.
Today is the final day to order the Model X 75D option. After today a base Model X will set you back an extra $15,000 as the 75D will no longer be offered.
Starting on Monday, Tesla will no longer be taking orders for the 75 kWh version of the Model S & X. If you’d like that version, please order by Sunday night at https://t.co/46TXqRJ3C1

Can I sign up now and only take delivery in June 2019?
Normally delivery take couple of months. You can certainly extend it for couple of weeks once it is ready for delivery
Accorddng to a salesman at tesla the return policy you dont get back the 2500 deposit on the S model. Is this correct?
In addition, although they removed the 75 option awhile they added today a 8k lower option for the S which has a 310 mile range instead of the 335. This can be added later if wanted.
