Staples is waiving the $6.95 purchase fee on $200 Visa gift cards through 5/11 in-store only.
Use your Chase Ink Cash Business Card or Ink Plus card and get 5 points per dollar spent. Or use your AMEX SimplyCash Card to earn 5% cash back.
You can purchase as many cards as your store will allow in one transaction and the fee will be waived. Some stores may have a limit of 1 while other stores may have no limits.
If you buy 10 of the $200 Visa gift cards you’ll earn 10,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points by charging it to an Ink Cash card. If you use your points at an average value of 2 cents each, then that’s like getting $200 back!
You can use the gift cards to buy money orders at Walmart or at various grocery stores and gas stations. Just use the last 4 digits of the card as the PIN number to cash them out.
Or you can donate the gift card to charity and get a receipt for the full face value while earning 5 points per dollar.
Or you can give away a gift card as a wedding or Bar Mitzvah gift.
Or you can always use it for everyday spending while earning 5% or 5 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per dollar everywhere!

What’s the fee for cashing out at Walmart? Can you cash out all at once?
its not an easy task you may wait on line at Walmart for 20 minutes and then when
you finally come to the register they will turn you down by saying we do not accept g c for money orders ,you may however be lucky some times.

It’s $6 for a gift card?
Usually $7. This week it’s free.
How about cash back during a purchase in a pharmacy or grocery store?
Brooklyn store on Coney Island Ave. will not sell more than one per household, very strict about it
Local staples started enforcing the 1 per customer limit 🙁
Did anyone try using these Visa gift cards for money orders at Walmart locations around Lakewood (Brick, Howell etc) and were you successful?
My Staples is enforcing 1 per cashier. There were 2 cashiers working when I was in so they let me buy 1 from each. Will be back tomorrow.
Just to understand correctly for a $200 gift card purchased with chase ink card from staples etc we can earn $10 in their cash-back program?!
My store wont let you buy with credit card. I will never go to this Staples again
Hi Dan – Do you have any idea when staples/office-depot will have the fee-waived sale again on gift cards? Thanks
