- Bookable on Priceline. Tickets purchased from Priceline today are refundable until tomorrow at 11:29pm ET. Please see this post for directions on how to cancel these tickets.
- Also bookable on Orbitz or Expedia.
- Limited seats are available on each date.
- Always search one-way for 1 seat and then work the search up to the number of seats you need in order to book as many seats on sale as you can.
- Use a card like Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve to earn 2-3 Chase points per dollar spent and get free trip cancellation/interruption insurance, travel accident insurance, luggage insurance, trip and luggage delay protection, and more!
- View all airline free change policies here.
- Delta and JetBlue are blocking middle seats.
- Delta and JetBlue are 2 of the airlines that still allow young children to fly without wearing a mask.
- Fares are basic economy, but having a credit card for airline cards waive many basic economy restrictions. For example:
- If you pay with your Chase United Explorer card you can bring a free carry-on, a free checked bag, and have priority boarding. The Chase United Club card allows for 2 free checked bags.
- AA now allows carry-ons on basic economy fares, but if you have a Citi AA Mastercard, Citi AA Executive card or Citi AA Business Card you can also get a free checked bag and have priority boarding.
- Delta allows carry-ons on basic economy fares, but if you have a Delta Business Gold, Delta Business Platinum, Delta Business Reserve, Delta Consumer Gold, Delta Consumer Platinum, and Delta Consumer Reserve you can also get a free checked bag and have priority boarding.
JetBlue has some excellent transcontinental fares right now. I’d expect other airlines to match these by tomorrow.
Also on sale are business class suites from $368 each way.

What’s their current policy regarding changes and cancelations?
Link is in the post.
Fares are not showing on priceline. Do orbitz and expedia have the same cancelation policy as priceline?
I see them on Priceline, but yes, they have similar policies.
It goes up to $366 when i upgrade to blue from basic instead of $226
Why upgrade?
Middle seats are being blocked and all fares are refundable to Travel Bank funds.
Im flying with kids and dont want to risk getting separated
They don’t separate passengers on basic economy tickets.
i dont mean to doubt you or anything but how can i be sure?
That’s just how it works after plenty of experience booking people on JetBlue and United.
Fair enough. Thanls for the quick reply too
1 more thing, im looking at travel in October and their blocking middle seat policy only extends until 9/8. any thoughts on that?
I’d be very surprised if they don’t extend it.
thanks again
Jetblue has on their site today “We’re blocking middle seats thru 10/15.
Blocking middle seats, requiring face coverings for all, and disinfecting every nook and cranny on our planes are just a few of the ways we’re taking care of your Safety from the Ground Up.” So that will cover Succos travel
how is delta in this regard with basic economy?
I got separated with basic economy tickets on united. It was a hassle to get anyone to switch cause nobody wants to sit in the middle.
So if I book 6 tickets, with 4 children included on jetblue or united basic economy, I will be seated together without selecting seats?
99.9% of the time, yes.
Dan, do you know if it’s also 99.9% of the time with Delta? Just booked 2 adults and 3 kids on basic economy with miles
I heard and read up that it wasn’t always that way, and ran into issues, with children not being seated next to the parents, so I guess they are wrong
My family was separated and kids where put all over the plane in middle seats (a while back). They plane was delayed for 30 minutes because they can’t put a 3yr old by themselves in a middle seat, until they paid someone to switch a seat so that could sit with his mother. The rest of us where spread out across the plane (8-14 yr olds)
Was it a crazy busy travel period, like Thanksgiving weekend or pre-Pesach/Spring break?
Which airlin
I noticed on priceline that they charge an extra $30 to include wifi and snacks…I don’t see that on Jetblue.com, where wifi and snacks are included in all fare levels.
You are misreading it.
Snacks and Wifi is free on all fares.
ok good…weird how they do that. thanks!
If I pay with points from a sapphire preferred card – do I also get the trip benefits, or only if you charge it to the card?
You do.
children aged of 2-14 keep on falling out of my reservation on Priceline. am i supposed to use a different age bracket?
Are there similar deals now from LAX – Hawaii Airports?
Reminder: Mosaic doesn’t get free same day changes on blue basic.
and I see that cant choose seats either
@dan matched by AA and united
If we book using UR for Jetblue, then cancel, I assume the UR points are not refunded, but the jetblue credit goes to my jetblue account?
