Not everyone needs to buy a seat. Plus JetBlue also charges for seats now on basic fares.

I wish I could find cheap long day-trips flights (within really reasonable mileage distance) from NYC for someone who can’t really get away for more than such time because of an infant and toddler in daycare during the day. I’d love to go to Buffalo (for Niagara Falls), Boston, or I wish there were an airport near Cooperstown for the MLB Hall of Fame. Personally not able to spend 3, 4, 5 hours for a day-visit, but I’d be curious to hear how others are taking advantage.
Buffalo to Niagara Falls is the same as Cooperstown to Albany.

I absolutely understand the “buy at the airport” reduction of the web fee and have been successful with this. However, I do not understand how to book Frontier using Chase points on either their (F9) website or the Chase UR website. Would also love to use UR points (at the 1.5 rate for Saphire Reserve) at the airport but that seems utterly impossible (if not please let us know how).
As a side note I just tried to book UA Basic Economy that shows available on other portals but UR does not show it or any F9 flights from LAS-DEN on Mar 19. Is there some sort of preference setting for UR that allows searches for BE or F9 fares?
